Skipjack Product Retirement- Introduction to Virtual Pay

We strive to give your merchants the best possible technology offerings in the market. After extensive review of our payment gateway strategy for small and medium-sized merchants, we have decided to sunset Skipjack on September 1, 2016 at 12:00 AM ET.
What product applications and services are affected?

  • Skipjack (NPC Secure) Virtual Terminal
  • Plug-in for QuickBooks®
  • FormBuilder hosted payments
  • Custom payment applications
  • Points-of-integration
  • PowerPay, custom lockbox application

Starting in June 2016, if your merchants use Skipjack (NPC Secure) virtual terminal or manual batch uploading services, we will migrate them through a very carefully coordinated transition.

Virtual Pay is an easy-to-use virtual terminal solution that will provide merchants an online solution to capture card-not-present, mail-order/telephone-order (MOTO) and card present transactions in a retail environment for a single, recurring, or multiple–location merchants. Best of all, this secure web-based solution requires no software installation making it easy to start processing card payments.

An email communication explaining this change and actions required to make the migration was sent to all current Skipjack customers on March 14, 2016.
