Important maintenance update

 
Worldpay is investing in a more stable and highly reliable tier IV data center. In support of the migration to the new data center, Worldpay will be performing maintenance activities on  Tuesday, September 18.

Effective October 1, 2018, Worldpay will transition from transaction date billing to settlement date billing for PIN debit transactions.

Mastercard to revise standards for online authorization of refund transactions
 
Effective with all refund transactions conducted on or after April 17, 2020, merchants will be required to initiate an online authorization.

Updated Visa Claims Resolution (VCR) fee information

 
Visa Claims Resolution (VCR) time-based dispute response and acceptance fees take effect starting October 1, 2018.

Please note: If you choose to file for arbitration for your dispute and the network rules in the issuers favor, a network fee of $500 may be assessed to your account.
 
 
 
 

China Union Pay announces expanded BIN range

 

China Union Pay is launching a new 8 series BIN range. Merchants and partners should ensure all point-of-sale devices are ready to identify, accept, and process these new BINs by October 12, 2018.

 
 
 
 

Update: Credential on File documentation (CoF) expanded

 
Worldpay continues to work with the card brands to ensure we have the answers our merchants need in order to properly implement Credential on File. We’ve obtained additional technical details related to CoF requirements and have updated our comprehensive resource document.

Update 8/24/18: Mastercard has confirmed that all issuers have the ability to support the POS entry mode of “10”. Merchants may begin including this entry mode as part of the CoF framework for Mastercard transactions.
